PROTECT YOUR SKIN EVERY DAY!!
*Seek shade when possible
*Avoid mid-day sun, especially between 10am – 2pm.
*Remember to wear sun-protective clothing such as long-sleeved clothing, wide-brimmed hat & sunglasses.
*Apply sunscreen to all exposed skin.
*Sunscreen should be broad-spectrum, water-resistant with SPF at least 30.
*You will need one ounce of sunscreen (shot glass) to cover exposed areas of body.
*Apply sunscreen 15 -30 minutes before going outdoors.
*Apply lip balm or lipstick with sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher.
*Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours or after swimming or sweating heavily.
*On cloudy days, up to 80% of the sun’s UV rays can pass through the clouds.
*Use extra caution near water and sand since they reflect UV rays and can increase chances of sunburn.
*Avoid tanning beds.
